I’ve had the distinct pleasure of frequenting this fine establishment for well over a decade, and it remains, without question, one of the culinary gems of the area. The fare is consistently of exceptional quality—each plate a masterclass in balance and refinement, with flavour profiles that are both nuanced and profoundly satisfying. One gets the sense that every ingredient has been chosen with care and every dish crafted with genuine artistry. The ambience is effortlessly charming, evoking a sense of quiet sophistication without ever feeling contrived. It’s the sort of place where time slows down—a haven from the noise of the world. Much of this warmth and grace is owed to the delightful proprietress, who greets her guests with the kind of poise and hospitality that seems drawn from a more gracious era. In a world awash with the fleeting and the faddish, this restaurant remains a steadfast bastion of quality, character, and care. It is, quite simply, a place one returns to—not merely to dine, but to feel nourished in every sense of the word.

Really nice quality food and good portions. Loved the sweet chilli chicken and sweet chilli beef. Had a karaoke machine and we got the chance to give it a go after all other tables finished to end the evening in good spirits.
